Terms of Use

By using the Fortera app (“the App”, “the Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Account

An account is required to sync data. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for actions taken under your account. Please provide accurate details when registering.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to disrupt its operation or gain unauthorised access to other users' data, and not to post in the social features any content that is abusive, unlawful, or belongs to someone else without the right to use it.

3. Your content

The training data, photos and notes you create remain yours. By posting content to the feed or via a public link, you grant us a limited right to store and display it so those features can work. You are responsible for the content you publish.

4. Beta versions

The App may be distributed as a beta (including through TestFlight). Beta features are provided “as is”, may contain errors, and may change or be switched off without prior notice.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of derived metrics, uninterrupted operation, or preservation of data, and we recommend keeping backups of anything important (CSV export is available).

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, including injury, loss of data or lost profits, arising from the use of or inability to use the App.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page. By continuing to use the App you accept the updated Terms.
